For more than 23 years, Rick Shanley has helped people manage their wealth. Rick is very knowledgeable in financial management. He’s especially adept at retirement planning. Rick has advised clients in or near retirement on wealth accumulation strategies, retirement income distribution, and legacy planning.
During his career, Rick has helped clients manage multiple market cycles, including the Dot-com crash, the 2008 Great Recession and housing market crisis, and economic turmoil caused by the pandemic. Through all of these events, Rick’s insight guided clients in their financial decisions.
He enjoys building personal relationships with clients and working with them to create a plan to pursue their goals.
Rick is a former teacher and he’s always had a heart for serving people. Since moving to the financial services industry, Rick is inspired by the opportunity to help families manage some of the most difficult times of their lives.
Rick is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and holds FINRA Series 6, 24 license, and 65 license through LPL Financial.
He’s very involved in the community and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Community Memorial Foundation. Rick graduated from Indiana University in 1994. He has three children; Abby, Matthew, and Ben.
